UP Congress Mourns the Demise of Senior Leader and Former Party Spokesperson Amarnath Agrawal

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Congress has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of its senior leader and former national spokesperson Amarnath Agrawal. In a condolence message, Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President Ajay Rai said that Agrawal’s passing is an “irreparable loss to the party.”

Ajay Rai described  Amarnath Agrawal as not only an eloquent speaker but also a deeply dedicated and committed party worker who devoted his life to the principles and ideology of the Congress.

According to sources,  Agrawal had been unwell for the past two months and had been undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital, Gurugram for the past month.

Expressing grief, Deputy Leader in Rajya Sabha and MP Pramod Tiwari said that the demise of Amarnath Agrawal is a great loss to the Congress family, describing him as a leader who always stood by the party during challenging times.

Leader of the Congress Legislature Party, Aradhana Mishra ‘Mona’, also mourned his demise, saying, “The passing of Shri Amarnath Agrawal is a huge loss to the party. His absence will be deeply felt, and his contribution can never be replaced.”

Several senior Congress leaders, including Dwijendra Tripathi, Virendra Madan, Pramod Singh, Anshu Awasthi, Mukesh Singh Chauhan, Dr. R.P. Tripathi, Siddhi Shri, Bablu Pandey (Basti), and Vijay Kumar, have also expressed their condolences and paid tribute to the departed leader.

The Congress family remembered Amarnath Agrawal as a man of conviction, humility, and tireless service — a voice that will continue to inspire party workers across Uttar Pradesh.
